That's correct. This is a shame on two counts because she loves architecture and has learned a ton in the classes (which are excellent). She's not even 17 and has completed two sets of permit drawings. I know kids in their 3rd year of architecture school who haven't done that.
I think that Phillip Jefferson at Wake Tech and NCSU would be willing to sponsor the change. They worked hard to ensure a path from WTCC to NCSU for their architecture students.
She wouldn’t have enrolled had she known. Amazing that education policy can slow the progress of ambitious students. Sad.

Sounds great. Would you mind introducing us? Thanks Sean!
If you'd like for me to dissuade her from the architecture field, please let me know. It's a service I routinely perform.
I will send her your way at CNU!
will miss you this year buddy
Who am I supposed to do my ad hoc podcast venting with?!?
call me anytime. In fact we're overdue for another episode
I reached the age where I’m a repeat Guest on podcasts!
Wouldn’t think it would be very hard to get two institutions to sponsor the change tbh.
Looks like she has a good topic for her college application essay.
